Pool PH Question...

Need some expert advice. My pool PH appears to like to stay at 7.8-7.9. Last year when I closed, it was at the same level, but I got it down to 7.6. When I opened, it was at 7.2, but within weeks, it was back up to 7.8-7.9 and has stayed there for the last 4-5 weeks. Water is perfectly clear. Chlorine is stable at 4 with CYA of 30, no CC. Alkalinity is 100. I have no water features. Is it ok to maintain my PH at this level or should I try to decrease it?

That's fine unless the calcium level is really high.

Last time I checked, calcium level was fine, well within normal limits. Will check it again tomorrow. Only check Ca++ once in awhile since I have a vinyl liner.
