Next tuesday our heater will be installed ( propane) and since i'm new to this when do you normally turn your heater on? during the day? or do u leave it running all night?

I have a gas heater rated at 250,000 BTU's. It heats my IG pool approximately 2 degrees an hour. So, whenever I want my water temperature increased, I use this formula accordingly. Also, when I do turn on the heater, I have it set to 89*. It will shut off automatically at 89*. Hope this lil bit of info helps. Good luck.
