Pink Comes Back on FC test?

    First time posting. Great forum!

We started using our Taylor 2006 test kit recently and we've noticed several times that with the free chlorine test, when we add another drop (after having added a few), the pink color will disappear in the tube after swirling, but then 15-30 seconds later we notice that a slight pink color reappears. We wondered whether we should ignore the reappearance of pink and move on to the combined chlorine test or go with that and keep adding more drops until the pink doesn't reappear 15-30 second later? Thanks!

    Welcome to TFP!!!

As soon as the water goes clear for a few seconds, the FC is done and you should move on to the CC portion and again be done when it is clear for a few seconds. The water will always go back to pink if it sits long enough.
