Running VS Pump During Breaking Period

I'm through my first week of break-in where pump runs 24/7. I believe now I'm in circulation/skimming mode only. I'm running my pump at 1100 RPM for 12 hours. Does this seem reasonable for the remainder of my break-in period? Looking for maximum efficiency yet proper daily water circulation.

I have read that you should strive to replace 1 1.5 total volume of pool water each day. The easiest way to figure that out is to determine your pool volume and pump rate. Next multiply your pool volume by 1.5, and divide this number by your pump rate. The number you are left with is how long you should run your pump for in order to filter that volume of water.

Someone smarter than i may correct me though :)
