Reading CYA levels

I have the Taylor K-2006 test kit and I have a question regarding the CYA test. We are supposed to transfer the test sample to the comparator tube with the black dot at the bottom. The directions say to transfer the sample until the "black dot on bottom just disappears when viewed from the top."

Do you guys stop the transfer as soon as the black dot gets hazy or do you stop when it completely disappears?

Thanks!

Stop when it completely disappears.

This test should be conducted outdoors, in full sun, with the sun at your back and the tube at about waist height looking down into the tube. Add small amounts of the sample until the dot disappears, then read the result. Now comes our suggestion, pour the sample from the tube back into the mixing bottle and do it again. A third time wont' hurt. Keep doing it until you are sure of what you are seeing and the result is the same each time.
