DuraCube Pros pick salt, can I use this in my pool?

Just like the title says. My local water softener company has Duracube and its 99.4% pure or better with no additive or rust inhibitor. It costs $8.90 for a 50lb bag.

I talked to the guy on the phone he said they don't sell pool salt, but its 99.8% pure with no additives. I think it comes in larger flakes or something as opposed to a fine grain that would dissolve quickly. What do you think?

That is pretty expensive. HD / Lowes have the solar salt for around $5 / 40 pounds

Yup. Generally the solar salt is in a blue bag. It is quite pure and has no additives.

Keep in mind salt is salt. As long as there aren't any additives go for the cheapest. Chunks or flakes will all dissolve in your pool one just takes a bit longer than the other.

FYI - when I added my salt I used my children to help dissolve it. They loved playing with it and were somewhat disappointed when it was "gone".
