Newbie pool owner - frog system

I am a new pool owner and have been reading threads about the the frog. I don't want any of the issues that have been discussed with this system. I am interested in doing the BBB way. My question is am I am
able to do this with my pool? I read the BBB for beginners and it talks about salt systems which mine is not. Any advice would be appreciated.

No to frog. Not good stuff. More problems and MONEY than it is worth.

You will also need a good test kit. See my siggy for the test kits we use and love!

I do not have a salt system for mine and do just fine.

Welcome aboard!! No fears, the BBB method is for every pool. Read the links posted above, and you'll soon see it's the most economical and simplest method to maintain a pool. Salt water (SWG) is an option, but not mandatory. Plenty of good and knowledgable people here to walk you through it.
