Unleveled pool HELP!

Hello all,

I have an intex 22 x 58 metal frame, pool looks unlevel really bad, I have measured inside and it is 2" difference from lowest to highest point. I used a tiller for the ground, but had a slope. I dug some of the slope and moved the dirt to even out the whole spot, guess I did it wrong. At this point I just want to empty the pool and call a professional to level the floor, hopefully before next weekend. I have pictures, but don't know how to attach from my phone. Give me your thoughts.

Welcome to TFP!!!

You should always dig down the high side and not add any fill on the low side. 2" is more than the 1" maximum that we recommend, so I would agree that the ground should be re-leveled.

Always dig down to match the low point. Unless you have access to a power tamper and you compact the fill dirt every inch of the way, it will settle and sink, as you can see for yourself. This is one of my favorite threads about levelling

From my experience the most level looking ground is going to be out of level. There are several build threads on the board that give good in depth details on how to level. Leveling is the by far the most important part of the build process. Good luck and for any questions you may have, just ask.
