Suntouch turning filter pump off with heater on when moving to SPA mode

I got an issue with my setup: filter pump shuts down while heater is on.
This does not happen with normal operation, and the cool down delay works when I shoot down the system, but only when I use the arrow up "SPA" button.
Suntouch insists on turning the pump off while changing valve positions, and when the heater is running, this causes havoc.
I need it to keep the filter pump on while changing valve positions OR ignore the SPA button with heater running OR use a cool down procedure.

I have shared setup with spillover spa and pool. Heater is a 400K gas. No solar yet.

Any suggestions?

I am having quite a hard time finding someone that knows that equipment. Perhaps is time for me to cut my loss and get something I have more control of.
