I have an 16x32 inground pool with a liner and a hayward pump and we have had pool for just a year. I live in Ohio and we had heavy rain all day and probably got over 6" of rain yesterday. In between downpours I turned pump on and put the port to waste and drained water out, just a couple inches and turned off pump. I wake up this morning to the water drained to the skimmer and started freaking out! Do you think because i left the port handle on waste, it could have drained? But the pump was not on at all. Thanks for any advice!
