stain developing around tile inlay at bottom of pool

Ive had pool only two years. about 6 months after it was filled i began to notice a 'fog' developing around my tiles at the bottom of the pool. i have pictures from all stages of the build. i can attach them if i could figure it out. they are on my desktop pc. each time i select the file the upload fails.

You can use photobucket to load pics. (The site has been having some problems and one of them seems to be posting pic. so just keep trying)

I would love to see your pool to see what you are talking about.

the chemical is muriatic acid. they want to add 10 gallons to remove the stain. what are your thoughts on this approach?

I have heard of using muriatic acid for stains before. That is all I have. I am not sure if it worked or not. I do know it will drive down your PH.

Maybe do a search here for it. There is a search area on the top, right side of the home page.

Let us know how it goes!
