Another "does this sound weird" question?

Most PB's want to go to the house because there are variables when building. How far is pool equipment from pool, location of pool to house, what type of space do they have to work with etc. when I had my 4 quotes done the were extremely close in price for just the pool. All of the extras are where they started to vary. From the pool deck to the screen enclosure and the automated goodies.
