effect of soap on pool water

Not interested in full body lathering up then jumping in the pool, but what effect does soap have on the water chemistry? Soap should be avoided? Some is ok? I soap up & hose off but wonder how good good of a "hose off the soap" is needed? Thank

While you should definitely hose off, a little soap isn't going to make much difference in the pool.
