What a great web site. So much to know and so much to learn. I have been around pools since I was born. As a child we had a cement pond! It was literally an 18' x 32' rectangular concrete IG pool. We used a 55 gal drum full of various sized gravel for filtering and to skim it we would drag two pieces of attached wood with sponges at each end in the morning to a troph in the shallow end that would flow out into the yard. I grew up loving the water and still do. When my wife and I found a house with an existing pool we knew it would be a good fit. She also had a pool as a child. I have a few questions I'll need help with . Even after all these years, mostly being around pools, I know there is so much I don't understand.
