DE and 10 oz coffee can

Hi everyone....I saved what I thought was a "1 pound coffee can". It is 10 ounces. Since I don't have a DE scoop at home....does anyone know the equivalent? I have a Pentair FNS 48 so I think I need to add 4.8 pounds. Anyone know how many " cans" that is? Thx

you really should weigh the DE at least once to figure out how much the can or scoop holds.
I found the DE scoop to not give me 1 pound ... and could vary a good bit depending on how settled the DE was.

A 1 pound DE scoop is about 48 fluid ounces.
