Jacuzzi Filter Questions

I recently moved into a home with a nice 22,000 gal pool with a Jacuzzi sand filter.

Question 1 - Where is the model number located on the sand filter? I have looked everywhere but many of the tags are worn or have fallen off.

Question 2 - What is the inspection plug used for? If my sand is low, can I add sand through the inspection plug instead of taking off the top unit?

I'm sorry I can't help, but I wanted to say hi, and welcome to the forum. Hopefully a bump will get you some answers. If your Sand filter is like most, sand will be added from the top only.
