Brain dead new to pool ownership

I have a intex above ground vinyl pool
4800 gallons
Alkalinity of 100ppm
cl Br .51
PH 8.2
hardness 100ppm
temp is 64

I want to use the BBB method. I went to use the online pool calculator but have NO CLUE as to what I am doing.

HELP! Seriously Frustrated!!!!!!

Well, first I would ask where you got those numbers? Pool store? Your very own test kit? If you kit, which one?

That Cl number seems odd and I do not see a CYA number that is very important.

It is a hth kit I picked up from Walmart Just following the instructions provided

Is this a fresh fill? Or how does the water look?

I filled it just about 2 weeks age with well water

don't know how to get cya. I live 35 miles from town and what I have read so far is a pool store has to test for that number

And what have you added to it in the last 2 weeks?

You do not have Bromine, so ignore that column.

Um, you did not read anything on this forum suggesting you to have the pool store test your water. We do not trust pool store testing. You either need to order a better kit or follow the Temp Pool guide I listed above.
