Hi all I just have a question ,
We have a 27' round scooped out 54" wall height , that's about 21,500 gallon , Above ground pool
and a Hayward Perflex EC65A De Filter , I have been using a pump motor that I had that is a 2 speed pump , 1/4 hp or 2 hp .
at 1/4 it seems to weak , and at 2 hp, it seems to stong.
I was looking at a Hayward Super pumps .
What would be the best fit ( Hp wise ) for my pool.

Thanks in advance for your recommendations on the right pump motor setup .

Good day, since you asked for a recommendation and you have a EC65A filer and looking for the right size Super pump. You are right that the 2hp is too much for the EC65. If you are looking for a single speed pump a 3/4 HP SP2605X7 should work. If you are looking for a 2-speed pump the SP2607X102S is a 1HP on the high side.
