    Vacuum for Intex?

We just got our pool set up 2 days ago and something went wrong with the Sand filter immediately and we had sand coming into the pool. We unhooked the sand filter and put on the weak cartridge filter that came with the pool until my husband can get check the sand filter and get it fixed. In the meantime, I have a mess of sand on the bottom of my pool that needs to be cleaned up and the crummy garden hose "vacuum" just isn't cutting it.

Any recommendations for a reasonably priced manual pool vacuum? And do any of these vacuums work without an actual skimmer? We don't have one set up yet.

Look for the small rechargeable vacuums such as an aqua broom or aqua broom xl. They are inexpensive, stand alone vacuums for pools.
