TFP vs. My Old Chemicals

After a slow start this Spring and doing lots of reading on TFP I'm stuck with a dilemma... I bought 70 lbs of stabilized chlorine (pucks and granular). Now that I'm reading about the The use of liquid chlorine what should I do with my old chemicals? Should I use them up this year and switch next year? Other thoughts from folks who have switched?

If you keep them dry, the pucks will outlive you. So save 'em. As you lose CYA to splashout and backwash or because of torrential rains, you can raise it back up with pucks. The powder will be good to raise FC and chlorinate when you refill next spring after winterizing.
