    Pool steps

Hi, guys, We are planning on installing a vinyl pool. Do you recommend getting the Laytham ready made steps that come in white or blue? If so, which type? Or is it better to get steps/seats made from cement and covered with matching vinyl?

    Re: Pool steps

Based strictly on looks I am a fan of the vinyl covered. No experience with vinyl pools other than reading here.

    Congrats on the new pool!

Ha! Vinyl steps vs. most other options? Less places for algae to hide. Good choice!

We're building ours now and went with vinyl covered. I've seen both installed, and must say vinyl is a little more expensive, but looks and feels 100 times better. More solid feeling and looks great! You can even customize them anyway you like.

We went vinyl, that way we were not limited to the liner color. it does add to the liner's cost. The steps are also available in gray just so you know.

    Re: Pool steps

Salina- I added the picture of the steps we ended up going with in my signature. We were back and forth between the two but with 7 people in our family I felt my profile picture would be more practical. I still love the steps and ledge that I posted for you earlier. Good luck with your decision!

    Re: Pool steps

I love this one too. This is a bigger pool so we will go with the first picture you send with ledge and dual stairs. Thanks a lot.
