The T104 is a DPST switch that turns the 230V power on/off
The T106 can be wired as a SPDT switch to select speeds by switching one of the 230V lines between low and high.
Generally there is never a need to have the speed switching on a timer since you want to run on low speed all the time except when you need high speed like for backwashing, vacuuming, or a spa so you could just manually flip a switch.
