    Filters

    I just bought some intex type B filters just trying to get my pool clean and having alge problems but these intex filters are clogging up way to fast I had some sommer escapes from last yr and they lasted a lot longer just can't get them clean anymore so I bought these filters and they are not very good.
    What kind of filters are y'all using. Still trying to get a grasp on this pool situation and learn the tricks to it

    A clogging filter, although a pain, is a good thing. That means it's doing it's job...

    Yah just rense it with a water hose every few days. Should be fine. No need to spend money on new ones.

    vinyl soft sided pool
    intex 1500 gph sand filter and intex swg at 1500 gph.

    At this time with the dead alge I can't run it more than a couple hrs with out the flow cut off alot and get a alarm on my SWG
