Hi.

I am contemplating installing a slide and in terms of the water source for it, do you typically tie it in from the plumbing near the pump or do you do it fresh water from an outdoor hose spicket? I'm thinking the former but wondering what most people do. Thanks!

Definitely from the pump...otherwise constantly adding cold water and messing with pool chemistry

I agree about connecting the slide water source to the pump. We were able to connect ours to the 'water feature' plumbing, which makes it very convenient to turn on only when needed. We were able to do the install mostly ourselves (we had our stone mason build a platform for the rear / steps portion of the slide). However, if I needed to install plumbing into an existing pool deck, I'd be inclined to contact a pool builder that does pool renovations / upgrades.

Yep I need a pro to do it. I appreciate it! I hadn't thought about a separate pump for it however.
