    Liner question?

This is my second year of being a pool owner, so I'm still trying to figure lots out.

Do you use anything above the water line of your vinyl liner to help prevent dry rot? I've heard of people say car wax and interior protectant (Armorall, for example)...but that seems very messy. Thanks in advance for your feedback!
~ 18.5' x 36.5' inground Grecian pool with vinyl liner
    ~ approximately 23,000 gallons
~ AquaRite Salt Water Generator cell size t-9
~ 1.5 HP Hayward Pump and Hayward Sand Filter
    ~ TF-100 test kit

    Re: Liner question?

This has come up before, but I don't recall reading a viable solution. I think the sun does the most damage over time, and it's hard to keep off the exposed vinyl.
