Up until about month ago our pump was working fine. We cleaned the leaves from the fall and everything we normally do. 2 weekends ago, the Pump will filter with no problem. But when we try to Vacuum on waste or backwash, the water is sitting basically at the bottom of the filling pot. We brought it back to where we bought it and they say there is no issue with it.
I bought new hose for the vacuum head and for the Filter basket.
We clamped and double clamped everything down.
We have had this issue last year with same pump and the wiring was wrong. The company that gave us a new pump wired it like it should be. Cause it worked until 2 weeks ago.
I am not ready to start digging up my backyard. Just in case.
My Future husband says its the sand filter I say its the pump.
I am at my wits end.
