There is a possibility that your chlorine is so high it bleached out the test strips. That's just one of the reasons we dislike test strips so much around here. Pool School - Test Kits Compared

The other possibility is that you have something growing in the pool that is using up all your chlorine as fast as the SWG makes it. If the pool was just filled and looks clear, that's unlikely.

just to let everyone know im new to this. sry if you have seen multiple posts. thank you for your reply. last yr we had the liquid tester and strips so looks like i will be going to get more of the liquid. also pool looks really clear. its just ph levels are high and chlorine is 0
