"Aqua pearl" crystalline DE filter media alternative

Anyone try "Aqua pearl" crystalline, silica-free DE alternative. I saw it advertised in a "in the swim" catalogue and they claim lighter and easier to handle. And makes filter cycles longer without caking or clogging like de. Sounds good! Anyone know anything or have tried it?

I don't recall anyone trying it. If you decide to please let us know how it works, but don't be surprised if it doesn't work any better or even as well and regular DE.
