    Poolmath vs Chlorine/CYA FC Recommendation

My non-SWG vinyl pool has CYA at 50ppm. Poolmath says my FC range is 4 - 8. The CYA/Chlorine chart says 4 - 6.

Why arenít they the same? Does it matter which target is used??

The target is arbitrary, the key is always staying above the minimum.
