Question Any experience with Maytronics Solara panels?

    Hi all,

My PB is really pushing me towards Solara panels from Maytronics. I cannot find a single review online... not postive or negative.

On this site there is only one mention from 2 years ago. Has anyone else taken the plunge since then?

For reference, my pool is 18'x36'. My PB is recommending 3 of the Solara panels, which works out to about 24 square feet. So vastly different from every other vendor (where it seems 200-400 sq ft would be the norm) that I have a bad feeling.

All I can suggest is Solar generally becomes useful when you have 50% or more of the square footage of your pool

i.e. 700 sq foot pool needs around 350 or more solar to be effective. Something is badly wrong if they think 24' can do the same job.
