Fc loss

Haven't lost any FC overnight lately. I have a puck going
to get cya up Anyways. Took cover off today for a swim session
kids been in as out of pool for 3 hours. Cover been off for 5 hours.
FC went from just over 4 to 2. Is that expected ?

I know contaminants and sun will destroy FC and sun fast with no CYA
Just wondering if I'm in the normal range. Thanks.

Seems normal. Somewhere there is an estimated FC loss per person hour.

What is your CYA?

I haven't even tested it yet. Because it's probably under 5. Pool has been up for only 10 days. So I have very little CYA from the puck. I use bleach for my main chlorine

You should really get the CYA up to around 30ppm so the chlorine is not so harsh.

Ok. Ill see if I can find some CYA I suppose walmart doesn't sell it do they ?
