using pavers for the 18'X48" Intex above ground?

i am getting ready to setup my new 18'X48" Intex above ground pool and read somewhere the suggestion of pavers. Can anyone please elaborate on what i should use exactly so i can get those down right away???
There are so many different kind of pavers.... do i stick them under the legs ontop of the ground cover/ gorilla pad? advise please

I used 2" thick, 12" x 12" concrete blocks, others use 4" thick. I dug my ground to level, recessed the blocks flush to ground level, and made sure they were all level with each other. I then placed a gorilla pad down, and then 1" thick foam sheets on top. Then the pool went on top of that. The foam I used is the kind the use under concrete for insulation.
