I have a newly installed, brand new Hayward heater H250FDN. Blower kicks on, burner ignites, then goes out after a few seconds. Tries again, and the same thing happens. It did run once for about 30 seconds. What do I check? After a couple tries, I get the error code IF.

IF is an ignition failure. You have natural gas right? Did you have a gas pool heater before this one attached and running at some point? Just checking to see if this is a new run of gas line and if so the length from meter to heater and pipe diameter.
