What is the correct TA for my pool?

I have an above ground, vinyl liner, chlorine. 27000 gal. My pool store says 100-120. Is a TA of 90 a good place to stay for the summer? Or should I raise it to 100 or more?

Are you having problems with your pH moving or do you have to deal with high CH fill water? If not, don't worry about it.

The TFP Recommended Level chart (link below) says for your pool it should be around the 70-90+ range. 90 should be just fine unless you are experiencing any odd issues as JohnT asked above.

No odd issues. Just opened it for he summer and it is at 90.

You don't think they were just trying to sell you some Alkalinity Increaser for $14/5 lbs which is chemically identical to Baking Soda in the grocery store for 80¢/lb do you?

I learned my lesson last year. Pool stores no longer test my water or give me advice.
