27 round AG Pool Pump and Filter Question

That will work great on any AGP pool that has a big enough pump for backwashing. A 3/4 HP full rated or 1 HP up-rated pump or larger will be big enough for backwashing. I would say it's a pretty good match for your pool. I have a 21" and would like a slightly larger filter such as the one you are thinking of buying.
