Del Ozone Sanitation

I am a new pool owner and when they installed the pool, I just went with their recommendation. One of the recommendation was to install a Del Ozone sanitation equipment. They also installed an in line chlorinator.

Recently, I started reading thru this forum and I have now switched to liquid chlorine as my primary sanitizer. I have turned off my in line chlorinator.

My question is what do I do with the Del Ozone? Keep it running or turn it off?

Also, if I just leave the Del Ozone running, do the target numbers on this forum (for a balanced pool) change because of the Del Ozone?

Run it or not, it's up to you. It does have a couple of minor benefits that in normal circumstances do not justify the cost, but you already paid for it.

No, the numbers on the FC/CYA chart do not change because you are using ozone.

One downside to continued use of your Ozonator is that it will increase your chlorine consumption slightly.

Would you know if it's easy to turn off or do I need to get my pool builder to do it?

It should be easy to turn off or unplug if it is not direct wired
