    Intex pool Vac problem

Hello everybody! Found this helpful forum via search engine. Very helpful tips!

I have an intex 20X52 above ground pool w/a 1600gph sand filter. Was using my newly bought intex pool vac. I notice that the hoses are sucking air into the system making my filter lose its vacuuming power. Are this defective hoses I got?

i have a question. Does your hose have one end that swivals around? If so, is that the end connected to the vacuum head?
