If you see some algae but numbers are good?

Hi.

My last test was seemingly ok but this AM I noticed a very small but definitively spot of Algae. Do I have to do a slam to get rid of it? I would rather not but not sure.

I would think ....SLAM! You see it, do it now to get it done quicker. Afterwards though, I believe your CYA should be much higher for a SWG pool (70-80). Maybe something to consider.

At the very least scrub it off with a brush.

If it's in a corner, see what you can do to improve circulation in that area.

After the above, I would carry your FC up around 8-10 ppm for a couple of days to make sure the algae doesn't reappear.

Please raise your CYA. It needs to be higher. And brush the pool thoroughly weekly.
