Suggestions needed for Spa (400 gal)

Today I decided to use the Taylor test kit instead of indicator strips for the spa and here's what I got

pH=7.6
FC=3.0
CC=2.5
TA=40
CYA=32
CH=50

The fiberglass hot tub is about 400 gallons and is covered most of the time. I add a little oxidizer and trichlor powder weekly. The water has been in there about a year. The last use of the spa was over a week ago.

What to do about the high cc level?
Should I slam the spa?

I want to use the BBB plan soon (brisket, beer, and bathing)

When you say you use oxidizer do you mean an MPS (Potassium Monopersulfate) product? If so one downside to these products is that it shows up as CC on the standard tests.

As to what to do, I would suggest starting out with a fresh refill, in general hot tubs should be drained and refilled with fresh water at least 3 times per year if they are being used consistently.

I would get some Ahh-some, Ahh-Some Water Cleanser, for pool, hut tub, jet bath, and washing machines, do a cleaning, drain and refill. Then use this process to maintain your tub. How do I use Chlorine in my Spa (or pool)?

I've been using this method for a year and a half and I'm very happy with it.

Well that solves that CC mystery, I would still flush and refill, the Ahhh Some will help remove buildup and scum from the plumbing.
