First test with TF-100

Looks like I need to lower the pH a bit, but otherwise, not too bad. No complaints, again I'm just grateful to have found this site. Keep up the good work guys and gals!!

Might be a dumb question, but do you guys test with the filter running or with the water stationary?

looks like your TA and CH are higher than recommended, be sure to check out recommended levels in pool school under handy references. Oh and welcome aboard !


You should have the pump running before drawing test water to make sure everything is mixed well. at least 30 minutes before should work.

I run the pump for about 30 minutes before testing. If I add any chemicals, I leave it running for 30 minutes after the last addition.

OK thanks. I'm going to drain and fill about 20% then retest.
