Opinions on these results - recently took over from pool company

I got rid of my pool company (haven't been here in a week) and started adding chlorine and testing yesterday. I have the TF100 kit. The pool company was using the tabs in a floater and coming once a week.

Any opinions on this?

CH: 200
TA: 80
CYA: 50
PH: 7.8

Pool looks pretty good. It is in a screen enclosure so it doesn't get big leaves in it. There are some black spots that I need to figure out what it is. There is also what appears to a little rust under where the stainless steel ladder is. The top step area of the ladder is a little rust so I need to clean that up.

CH is a little low, although probably fine if you keep the pH in the mid upper 7s.

Everything else looks good. Just keep the FC above the minimum listed in the FC/CYA Chart and the pH in range.

If the pool company was floating tablets, I'm a little surprised your CYA is only 50. You're quite lucky!
