This is my first post to TFP, even though I've been a stalker for a while now. Getting ready to undertake a renovation (plaster/coping, new deck, etc). I think I have grasp on the project but I have a question and I wanted to get opinions. After 15 years of having a pressure side cleaner, I have decided to go with a robot. My question is, what should I do with the pressure side return line, since I will not be using it any longer. Should I just leave it in case I should want to return to a pressure side cleaner, this giving me options in the future. Just wanted to see what some of your thought are?

I would leave it as-is. I would just turn off the valve that controls it. As you said, it gives you, or the next owner, the option of going back to a pressure-side cleaner in the future.
Leave it, either screw on cap it or at minimum spring loaded shut off cap. For future options.
