New to pool ownership...happy I found TFP!

Hi my name is Chris, and this is my first summer in my new pool. I found this site a few months ago and have learned a great deal. This site is a great resource for pool owners. The site has answered many questions for me, but I'm sure I'll have many more. Just wanted to introduce myself. My pool was built last fall, but I'll try to post some pictures of the construction process.
    Pool built Sep 2014 | In-Ground | Plaster Finish | Irregular Shape ~ 16'x32' |
    17,000 gal | Jandy DEV48 DE filter | Hayward SuperPump 1 HP (C48AB61A04) |
    Polaris 280 & PB4-60 Booster Pump | AutoPilot DIG-220 & Cell SC-48 | Raypak Heater R336A

    Welcome!

And let me be the first to say,
16K freeform gunite with spa; Pentair 4000 DE filter; Century Whisperflow 1 HP; Pentair Minimax heater.
Troublefree does not mean Maintenancefree. It's like brushing your teeth: You can spend a couple minutes a day and pennies a week or go to the dentist once a year and spend several thousand dollars.
A pool is like a pet - you have to feed it every day, even the days you don't want to play with it!
