Cloudy water High FC

Pool is cloudy only can see 2 feet down in shallow end. Opened for 3 weeks.

have been fighting this for 3 weeks. New sand. Filter seems to be working perfectly. no air in the lines.
have just added algicide again yesterday. pool stores keep telling me everything is balanced. now there is white stuff when I filter. Flocced this morning stopped filter at 8:30 it is now 3:30 and there is no change.

First, I assume you need to invest in one of the Recommended Test Kits and stop going to the pool store which is clearly not helping you.

Then you will need to follow the ShockLevelAndMAINTAIN Process to clear up the pool.

We do not recommend the use of algaecides or flocs or clarifiers or any other pool store potions.
