Its a row of numerous valves that just turn on/off at the proper times needed to make either the water or absence of it...Since its so uniform its probably computer ran to assist with the times needed and they could also easily add shapes, etc later.

I saw this on TV once before, except it was behind a Jeep booth and they had the Jeep logo, and pictures on Wrangers falling from it... Preety neat IMO.
