hey guys, got a cousin that uses the pool store for testing and chemicals, i have mentioned tfp to him but he wont make the switch, so about a week ago his pool turns cloudy and he ask me about it, i tell him it needs to be shocked, probably algae, he goes to pool store for a water test, they go on to tell him all of the rain has put metals in the pool and that was why his water is cloudy. my pool is perfect, so im not buying the metal b.s., what ya think ?

Cloudy can mean several things, but the most common is algae growing in the water. Cleat to Cloudy to Green is the normal progression.
