Hello there from new owner of pool/ home

Welcome to TFP!!:handwave:

Understand, that if it is open, a pool is something you need to feed every day. Chlorine keeps the algae away. Are you planning on taking care of it yourself?

Welcome gamer! You are in the right place for advice and assistance. Please take a moment to read the essential links below in my signature. They will help you tremendously. Speaking of signature, also take moment to add your pool characteristics to it as well for future reference. Welcome to TFP!

Thank you. We have a chlorine feeder from company Hayward. Yes we plan to take of the pool ourselves.
Well, if you are going to maintain it yourself, you will need one of the recommended test kits. To effectively practice the TFPC methods, the FAS/DPD chlorine test is essential. All the kits on the list contain that test while very few other kits do. The kits sold at the pool store generally won't won't cut it, but be careful pool store employees are known to say “it's the same thing”. Generally it's not!

We do not recommend the use of a chlorine tab feeder as a long term solution to keeping chlorine in your pool. Chlorine tabs not only add chlorine, they continually add stabilizer which within even a couple of months can cause the stabilizer level to raise out of control. Read these three articles in Pool School and I think you will understand.
