    Above ground pool heater

    Hey guys

Looks to get a gas heater 150 000 btus, anyone know how far away from the pool we can put it? ... It's about 25-30$ a foot to run the gas line so can we just place the heater closer to the gas meter ? I know the pump is rated for 30 feet but can't find anything on the heater ...

I just installed the raypak 156a mode. it's 150k btu natural gas unit. My heater is about 12 feet from the pool and 4 feet from the filter and pump. Pool was at 70 now it's up to 83 so far no issues
