Our heater runs however the "up" temperture set button on the digital display will not increase over 80. The down arrow will work as well as the mode button. How do I fix this? thanks

This may be a factory default setting. Since 80°F water is hardly what I would consider to be scalding, I would think there is a way to override this. Check the documentation that came with the heater. If that doesn't give any clues, then I would :google: it or see if anyone else has experienced this issue with that particular heater.
