    Hayward 250 heater problems

Our heater runs however the "up" temperture set button on the digital display will not increase over 80. The down arrow will work as well as the mode button. How do I fix this? thanks

    Welcome to TFP!

This may be a factory default setting. Since 80F water is hardly what I would consider to be scalding, I would think there is a way to override this. Check the documentation that came with the heater. If that doesn't give any clues, then I would it or see if anyone else has experienced this issue with that particular heater.

Which model of Hayward is it that you have?

A word of caution: When working with gas and electrical you might want to consider a licensed contractor. Consider the value of your life and others around you.

This is strange. I also would like the model.
